“"42nd Street" is, of course, that kind of emotional, romantic show, a celebration of the kids in the chorus, the out-of-town graft, the precarious line between hit and miss, the rewrites, the disasters and, most of all, the Broadway dreams of the young that invariably re-infect their elders.” –Chicago Tribune
“Along with the dancing feet and throbbing heart of this production, that headwear captures the “hip hooray and bally hoo” of old Broadway.” –New York Times
“It’s a high-octane, kick-up-your-heels tap-dancing extravaganza, but “42nd Street” has so much more than fancy footwork going for it." –Chicago Sun Times
