Center Theatre is proud to announce a
Home School Program! We will be
having three acting classes
geared specifically for home schoolers
starting in the spring of 2010.
Classes begin January 4 thru May 27, 2010!
All Heart of Tex members will receive Free registration and one free months tuition!! That's $100 off!
Tuition is $50 per month and $35 for another addition child or second class. Artisan will give you another month's free tuition if you bring a friend and they register for a class!!
NEW! MAKE-BELIEVE (Home School) - Thursdays, 3pm-4pm (Ages 6-7) Instructor: Danielle Beacham
This is an acting class for the young homeschooler. Not only with this class teach your child the basics of theatre, but they will discover new words, imaginary places, and different creatures all on the Artisan stage. This acting class will focus on teaching your new actor how to explore their imagination and work together as a team with a variety of games, activities, and creative play. It will allow each young performer to step out, learn confidence, and how to work with one another.
NEW! LIGHTS UP (Home School) - Wednesdays, 2pm-3pm (Ages 8-12) Instructor: Danielle Beacham
This is a home school acting class where students will learn acting techniques through a variety of exercises and theater games. The focus will be for students to become confident on stage and study acting through improvisation, pantomime, character analysis, and even scene study. Teamwork is also one of the main goals of this class.
NEW! ACTING FOR TEENS (Home School) - Wednesdays, 3pm-4pm (Ages 13-18) Instructor: Danielle Beacham
The class will allow the teens to study acting through improvisation and different activities such as theatre games, teamwork building exercises, character analysis, and even scene analysis. Your teen will be stretched in a fun and safe environment and a place where their talent can shine.
